From a Miracle to a Mission
The inspiration behind Courage League Sports, Jack Clarke, is turing 16 in June which means it's been eight years since a series of strokes took away his ability to be a kid. In that time there have been a number of miracles - from relearning how to talk, and then walk, to the opening of Courage League Sports.
Jack has endured more than thirty surgeries and years of therapy, but through it all his love for being active and playing sports has remained. The outlet for physical and social interaction that Courage League Sports has provided Jack (and kids like Jack) is one-of-a-kind. As Jack and many others have said, "I now have a place to call my own where I can play like a regular kid!"
In celebration of Jack's 16th birthday and a place that has allowed him to feel like a kid again, we are asking you to help us raise $16,000 to support the programs we'll be offering this fall.
