Norwalk Special Recreation: Youth Programs

Courage league sports is a non profit adaptive sports and recreation program offering year-round opportunities for children and adults who are not able to go full speed due to a physical, cognitive or emotional disability.  By adapting the pace, equipment or nature of an activity, Courage League can provide a safe and accessible environment where participants can go at their own speed.

Courage Cubs activities are designed to match the energy level of preschoolers. We do this through rhythmic music, basic tumbling activities, sensory stimulation and other adapted activities built to meet your child’s needs.

Courage Tigers programs are built for our younger school age participants. We will work on social skills, core, balance and upper body development and fundamental sports skills and group games in a fun and inviting way.

Sessions in Norwalk will take place at the following location:
Lakewood Elementary
9210 Happy Hollow Dr
Norwalk, Iowa 50211

This session is 4 weeks in length. Each class will be one hour in length.

Registrations will be taken at the following link: Norwalk Parks and Recreation
Cost: $50 per 4 week session for Norwalk Residents – $57.50 for non-residents.
